Lucia has a fascination for doors, probably because of their symbolism and meaning: transition from going to one space to another one, mystery, imagination. As we say in french that eyes are the gateway to the soul, she believes that doors keep hidden secrets, stories that we can imagine and Calpe likes to think of those who built these doors, and all those who pass through them every day, as if the door perceived the souls of those who
pass through. She always try with her photographs to tell a story or to let the viewer think of a story.
